First and foremost, I am a father blessed with two wonderful daughters. I’ve spent the last decade-plus working at the vanguard of education, investing and operating businesses dedicated to the future of learning. At the same time, I’ve been a creator myself, running a newsletter and podcast for several years and publishing my first novel, The Maker’s Dream, in 2021.

I’m obsessed with the future of learning, specifically how kids learn to tell stories. Why? I believe society’s advances in technology are fueling an ever-growing attention economy. For kids, that means 1) learning to pay attention closely to what they care about and 2) learning to command the attention of others couldn’t be more important. And, to me, the art of storytelling is the key to both.
